South Carolina Philharmonic presents Mozart’s Symphony No. 39 with wine specials at concessions!
It’s time to make a grand entrance through the gilded halls of musical genius with “Wolfgang & Wine.” The night begins with the vibrant rhythms of Gabriela Lena Frank’s Concertino Cusqueño, a lively dance that sweeps you into the colorful festivities of Peru. Next, glide into the enchanting duet of Richard Strauss’ Duet Concertino for Clarinet and Bassoon – a graceful pas de deux of melody and harmony featuring SCP members Joseph Eller (clarinet) and Patrick Herring (bassoon). The evening reaches its peak with Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Symphony No. 39, where each movement unfolds like a majestic dance of elegance and brilliance.
But what about the “wine” part of the concert? The Koger Center is rolling their concessions out into the lobby to offer a diverse menu of wines that not regularly available. Arrive early to enjoy a glass or two!
